Gamo Whisper VH Combo Air Rifle
Gamo Whisper Air Rifle Overview
The Gamo Whisper Air Rifle has been tagged as the “Quiet Gun” or the “Whisper” because it is specifically designed for quieter shooting using the special ND 52 Technology – an integral non-removable noise dampener that reduces the noise by as much as 52%. Any skilled noise-sensitive hunter would definitely prefer the Gamo Whisper Air Rifle.
It comes with an all-weather synthetic stock with front and rear fiber optic sights wherein the rear is fully made adjustable. Aside from having all the features of the traditional Whisper rifle, it is also equipped with a unique thumbhole stock that has dual cheek pieces. This air rifle only weighs 5.28 lbs. and has an overall length of 43.5 inches.
Gamo Whisper Air Rifle Benefits
With the Gamo Whisper VH Combo Air Rifle, it is easier to stay on target and much more comfortable to fire because of the thick ventilated rubber butt pad combined with the noise dampener that softens the recoil. This baby comes with a 3–9×40 Scope, Laser, Light and PBA ammo that shoots at an incredible speed of 1,200 feet per second. That is equivalent to 1,000 per second using 0.177 caliber lead bullets.
The ND 52 Technology of Gamo Whisper Air Rifle is a revolutionary and a completely legal technology that helps keep air gun enthusiasts do their thing without the noise. It is basically perfect for hunting varmint and small animals. Technically, a reduced firing blasting sound will not only hide the shooting direction of the shooter from the targeted prey; it will also restrain you from disturbing fellow shooters around while you are plinking to your heart’s content in the backyard. Simply put, it’s a good looking toy for hunters out there.

Gamo Whisper Air Rifle Recommendations
Based on experience, this rifle is amazingly light. But I think this type of rifle produces almost the same noise as that of any other top of the rank air rifles that are available today. Though compared to an old model 0.22 spring-type air rifle, it does have a distinct reduced sound, thanks to the ND technology. A number of small adjustments on the elevation or in the winding can be done on the rifle scope to enhance its efficacy.
To add, accuracy will differ based on the different ammunitions used. So better test it yourself first to get the exact shooting preference. You might also notice a slight change of pellet flight path when changing ammos. The pellet speed will be supersonic if you use PBA (Performance Ballistic Alloy) ammunition, but the speed drops to subsonic if you use lead pellets. The Gamo Whisper Air Rifle, just like all types of air rifles, has a pellet preference.
- Rubber butt pad does soften recoil

Gamo Whisper Air Rifle Comparison
The Gamo Whisper Air Rifle is way better than the Beeman Guardian rifle. In my opinion, the Beeman is a starter for the big guys. Though it’s easy to cock, the trigger and the break-barrel is quite stiff plus a buzzing sound can be heard when fired. It’s a cheap starter gun I don’t advise for kids.
The “Whisper” on the other hand performs better. It is doubt easy to assemble and dismantle. Though I only had mine just a couple months ago, overall, I think it’s made to last. The price margin will always tell the craftsmanship quality of the gun and the Gamo Whisper Air Rifle is not an exemption.
